Well, right in that announcement they state:
The replacement product is IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (5725-E30)
You can check with your BP if there's a trade in program or something
available.
Are you talking about instant replication or periodic?
Are you doing full replacements or just changes?
I was just thinking why not roll your own with JDBC or some such thing?
Scott Klement came up with one solution you could use.
Dieter Bender comes at it from a different angle and both are worth
looking into. They did a nice civil job of comparing their products and
one time and why one may be better for different situations.
