If you do a DSPFD on SYSPSTAT you will see:
select ...
FROM QSYS.QADBXREF A, LATERAL (SELECT * FROM TABLE
(QSYS2.PARTITION_STATISTICS(A.DBXLIB, A.DBXFIL) ) AS X ) AS B WHERE
A.DBXATR IN ('TB','PF','MQ') AND A.DBXREL = 'Y'

So I believe the problem is that QSYS2.PARTITION_STATISTICS doesn't
support this. However this function is undocumented in the knowledge
center although I did put a comment in it asking for documentation on it.
Does anyone know where the documentation is?
When I run this I do not see a text column.
SELECT *
FROM TABLE (QSYS2.PARTITION_STATISTICS('ERPLXS ','QCLSRC ') )
AS X

But, as you are the customer the above is irrelevant. If they have to
update QSYS2.PARTITION_STATISTICS to get SYSPARTITION_STATISTICS to work
that's not your problem.
