I am willing to bet the farm that this security audit did NOT check any
system values.
And, that if they say "Weak LAN Manager hashing permitted" then it is
because they tested that and discovered it to be true.

In that case then, yes, it does sound like running at 0 or 2 is probably
not a good idea.

Any horror stories going from 2 to 3?

Planning to change this system value and IPL my sandbox lpar ASAP.
