There's a list of PTF Services at
http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_73/rzajq/rzajqservicesptf.htm?lang=en

I think Jim is talking about the Group_PTF_Currency.
The problem I have with that is if they come out with a new group and you
do not yet have it you will not see it on this list.
It only compares what groups you currently have with what versions of
those same groups are available from IBM. like this:
....+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5....+....6....+....7....+....8....+....9..
PTF_GROUP_CURRENCY PTF_GROUP_ID
PTF_GROUP_TITLE

However this does take advantage of some hidden websites where they list
PTF groups by XML.
You can look at the source for this and figure most of this out.

If you get good at sql of xml then you could compare sites like this
http://www-912.ibm.com/a_dir/as4ptf.nsf/WWWPTFBYDATE?ReadViewEntries&PreFormat&ExpandView&count=3000
with your individual PTF's and jump on the exceptions.

Does anyone have a sample to share?
