Anything host table entry related will be incorrect 99% of the time. :)

- Don't use IP addresses in your applications where host names should be
used.

- Don't use host table entries where the proper host name that is resolved
by your DNS can be used (unless there's no other choice, for example a
temporary override of an IP address).

- Set up TCPIP Properly.

- Don't use QDLS (this is only here because it's as bad as use IPs or host
table entries and can't be repeated enough).

Yes, it's a hot topic for me. I deal with customers every day where the
issue is if they would have set up and used proper DNS servers (CFGTCP
option 12) things wouldn't just "quit working" when "network Joe" decides
to change the IP address of a server.

Because they chose to use IPs or Host Table Entries, they're now
disconnected from the automatic updates a proper DNS gives you.

Darn, now you know I don't use security level 40. :-)

How does one decompile the CFGTCP menu to see what option 10 runs?

I doubt it would help due to the security imposed.

FWIW: I did try to do a RTVCLSRC on QTOCWHTE with no luck (not that I
expected it to work).
