The procedure does not affect STRSQL or any other interactive applications
connecting to the local system. It will only affect users coming in
through one of the remote servers: ZDA (QZDASOINIT jobs for IBM i Access
ODBC/.NET/OLEDB and Java Toolbox/jt400 JDBC), DRDA (DB2 Connect
ODBC/JDBC/.NET/..., other vendor software but also WRKRDBDIRE remote
servers). As of TR3/TR11 it can also be used for the remote command server
(STRTCPSVR *REXEC).

You set for which combination of user/group and server. You can route JOE
in to his own subsystem for ZDA and DRDA, while Mary only gets routed for
ZDA and group BADUSERS get their DRDA sessions routed but not ZDA - it's
very flexible.

Jim,

It sounds like the QSYS2.SET_SERVER_SBS_ROUTING() procedure will
allow me to do what I need to do. Since the routing procedure will
only work for database servers, I assume by that statement that the
procedure does not impact/work for QINTER and traditional green
screen applications. Is that correct?

I will look into your session presentation, as one of my coworkers
did attend COMMON last year.

Thank you,

Doug
