The fields are defined with CCSID of 65535.

Some tools, STRSQL, will use the job attributes and translate.

Run SQL Scripts for example doesn't unless you have "Translate CCSID 65535"
checked in the JDBC settings.

When I look at the files using QuestView, from terminal session on their

But when I look at the JDE files in Squirrel SQL, most of the fields are
showing what appears to be hexadecimal EBCDIC.

Anybody have any idea what could be going on here?
