But, in a way, you're right they did seem to drop the "Shared Memory
Functions" area. But you can find shmget(), if you look for it. (Not
that you should have to look for it individually...)

We use RPG wrappers around system APIs. I thought I would just share a
Knowledge Center reference to the APIs, but it appears that IBM's
documentation has not been carried forward to 7.1 and 7.2 releases. You
