Is this IBM i running db2?

Yes.

if so which version.

It is called DB2 for IBM i, and the version number is the same as the
version of the operating system, which is called IBM i.

It is NOT NOT NOT the same as any other family of DB2.
It is NOT NOT NOT the same as DB2 for Linux, Unix, Windows.
It is NOT NOT NOT the same as DB2 for z (mainframe).

It is my personal experience that anyone who asks this question (what
version of DB2) is trying to use an ODBC driver for LUW and encountering
issues. Which one woudl, because DB2 LUW is not the same as DB2 for i.

we are working in Sql and
want to know which command are supported.

The SQL Reference in the Knowledge Center is the first place to look.

The DeveloperWorks web site is the second place to look. That is where
the very latest changes (like those from Technology Refreshes) are
documented.
