I'm doing the sum in the view because it is difficult in the reporting tool
because of lack of relations between the views. What i need is to add same
order types in 2 different views. the thing is the report they just want
sales this year/ last year.

Yes, views can reference other views.

I've not tried to add a duplicate column name to a view, but I anticipate
it won't allow that. Even if it did allow duplicate column names, you
wouldn't want to do that.

Columns YEAR and AMT are a bit vague. You may want to consider giving them
more specific column names to be more descriptive to those consuming the
view(s).

subject: Views question

I have one view. There is a second view I have which I would like to add
some fields from that to the first view - is that allowed?

Data First view

Order type YEAR AMT

INT 2015 100.00
INT 2016 80.00

in Second view, I also have the above data. I would like to add that to
the
first. I guess making a new view. Is that possible?
