I retested this with a 1 million page spoolfile.
Setting starting page to last page, 1048576
Released spoolfile to InfoPrintServer PDF email job.
It took 4 minutes to process.
It appears that the InfoPrintServer job still processed from page 1 to the end.
End result was 1 page PDF, last page of spoolfile.

And your test involved a million-plus-page spooled file?

If it works, great. That is clearly precisely what OP was after. The reason most of us are talking about copying the data out is that OP said

"You cannot enter a 5 and it appears that restarting with the second to last page does not work either."

I guess most of us took that to mean he already tried setting PAGERANGE as you and Jeff have suggested, to no avail.
