my point was that the entire list of PTFs being checked against your installed list of PTFs would probably not give you good feed back.
There will be lots of PTFs that you will not have installed even if you are current on groups. Not every PTF makes it to a group or CUMe.

I did not see the value of checking every PTF available against your installed base of PTF's.

True. And "if" they were all really old would most all be already
applied? And "if" they were a mixture of old and new would it be possible
that you would have a mixture of applied and not applied?
