No application should ever use IPs (well, I'm sure there are cases, but
99.99999% shouldn't). That's one of my pet peaves and I deal with it every
day with customers using our software. :)

No host table entries either! Use the DNS and host names!

TSYS can change an IP, take one out of service, etc.
This is why the CC system only uses the URL, and not any of the IPs.
