Several of the examples I saw by googling for the API name have the user space processing in them - that stuff is basically the same for all APIs using user spaces. It can be done in CL for some things and certainly in RPG.

You can try the samples at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/comp.sys.ibm.as400.misc/7ulLpWw1I4A/w3U6tIJfs7IJ

And in the replies in this post is some code - http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/itanswers/retreiving-job-information-command-string-for-jobs-waiting-in-job-queues-on-an-iseires/

You would do well - if you haven't already - to get Bruce Vining's book, APIs in RPG IV - something like that - lots of example code there for the many styles of API. I don't remember if he has CL stuff there, but he does in various places, like MCPressOnline, as I recall.

I have a working API example for a non-users pace API.
I've never created, changed or worked with user spaces.
This API requires the use of a user space.
So I need create and change the user space for this API.
I was planning on using the TAATOOLS for this.
CRTUSRSPC, CHGUSRSPC, etc.

I'm still looking for a good CL API user space example.

Actually, if there is a better solution, I really need the last command (RNMOBJ) with parameters called in job abc.

I'm looking for a good example of the parameter setup.
Also, not sure which format I should be using.
Aeons ago, I wrote a command to extract the commands out of my job log.
The idea being that I'd use the interactive command line to test / debug a process, then extract out the commands, put them into a CLP and use that script for future work. I called RTVJOBCMD

It's ancient but it still works.
