Yes, Sort of like that. That's what I referenced in my initial post. By
the length of time that it runs, it appears to just be doing a DSPOBJD (or
some equivalent) anyway. Also, the change timestamp is one of the things
I'm wanting to retrieve.

I suggest asking them to add two columns:
LIBNAME VARCHAR(10) System name of the schema
OBJCHANGED TIMESTAMP Timestamp of when the object was changed.

extract object creation and change information that's quicker than DSPOBJD
to an outfile.

OBJECT_STATISTICS table function.
