Does anyone know if the "IBM i Access for Windows" works with Windows 10?
Just curious.

Hi to the Gurus,

Hello Frigyes

Rumours are that Client Access will be discontinued on V7R2, iSeriess
Access Client Solutions replaces it. Does it mean that I can not connect to
a machine on V7R2 by using (the old) Client Access?

Have a look at
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/software/i/access/windows.html

They write that there is no plan to support this software for Windows
beyond 8.1
So, my understanding is that "IBM i Access for Windows" will no longer be
updated.

They also write that there is no refresh in 7.2, but "IBM i Access for
Windows" 7.1 will connect to any supported IBM i release. In my opinion,
this is supposed to let us enough time for migration to "IBM i Access
Client Solutions".
