I've used SBMNETJOB in the past. you must have SNADS configured to use it.

you could also create DDM files and use the SBMRMTCMD you mention.

I suppose if you wanted to get fancy you could setup DDM data queue,
have a listener job on the remote and add commands to it from the source system.

Sockets are another way. Socket listener on remote and connect to it from source, send it the submit commands.
