Indeed, and all you really need to print hard copy AFPDS documents is a laser printer with host print transform turned on (TRANSFORM(*ON) MFRTYPEMDL(choose appropriately)) in the printer description. Except in cases when a PDF, rather than a document printed on a physical
AFPDS printer, is the intended product.

In that case, good or bad, it is what it is, and previewing a PDF
generator by actually generating PDFs will give you the same 100%
fidelity that previewing AFPDS printed output on the specific model of
AFPDS printer you intend to use for final output gives you.
