Don't confuse the Robot products with the others under the Help Systems umbrella.
I don't use any of the Robot products.
Also, they do give a nice discount for very LPAR beyond the first.

We have all these 10+ 3rd party products, all giving additional functionality and ease of use to the i.
And yes, add the price of all of them, for multiple LPARS, and yearly maintenance, it's an alarming number, exceeding that of i5/OS.

I think there will always be a need for performance navigators.
Don't worry. The existence of performance navigators should not detract attention from your concern about monitoring software.

Me, I'm not overly enamored with Robot products. Their purchasing of a product tends to really raise the price. And when WRKDBF was in it's temporary hiatus I looked at a replacement product from Robot. Robot's product seemed like generic beer on a champagne budget. High price - less features.

Messenger Plus is a very good product but the cost of putting it on several lpars - ouch!
