PANIC WARNING CAREFUL DANGER! Ok, not really. :-)

It just resets the DSP01 (technically QCONSOLE) device when you do this. You can disable this 'functionality' (I call it an annoyance) if you'd like but the theory here is that you can't accidentally take over someone's session on the console who was higher security than you.

Also this has NOTHING to do with ACS this can occur on any type of console (other than twinax).

I loaded the ACS software today and so far so good, but I ran into a message I not sure about. When I start a session to connect to the HMC console of a partition I get a DST signon screen with the following message/options:

ATTENTION: F18=Bypass, device power down/up will occur.
F18=Bypass Dedicated Service Tools (DST) Sign On

Will this power down the partition or just my ACS session?
