Tim,

Our SPLTOOL software has functionality that can take one PDF and add
another as an "overlay" which would add a logo, grid lines for a
PO/Invoice, etc.

We have examples here:
http://www.fieldexit.com/forum/display?threadid=12

And here:
http://www.bvstools.com/spltool.html.

So, while our SPLTOOL can convert to PDF as well as add another PDF as an
overlay (one that contains your logo) it also has standalone commands that
can add the overlay itself.

The overlay needs to be PDF and in your IFS. You should be able to take
your word doc and save it as PDF, or "print" it to a virtual printer that
creates a PDF (we use PrimoPDF for this, which is free).

Feel free to contact me offline for more information. (bvstone at gmail
dot com or bvstone at bvstools dot com).

I'm trying to add a logo to a report that is converted to a pdf via
keyesmail but it looks horrible. I installed the IBM print driver "Generic
InfoPrint 600dpi AFP". I then generate a .prn file that is used in the
CRTOVL command.

I've played with the settings on the properties screen (Gray Scale Method,
Graphics Options, Color Options, etc), but cant seem to get a nice logo.

The source for my logo is a word document where i copied in the logo. It
looks fantastic in word, but horrible in the pdf.

any suggestions or different methods to use to get something i don't mind
sending out to a client?
