Keep in mind "reinstall" can be a slip installation, just put it right over
the top of the old LPP. You don't (or at least should not) have to remove
it first.

Then check the PTFs

CL Compiler Support Option 9

I agree with the Reinstall + Re-PTF.
I run CHKPRDOPT every downtime.

Holger,
IBM often puts copies of commands into these libraries. And I don't think
it matters if they've changed or not (although I may be wrong).
On my 7.2 system with previous CL support loaded WRKOBJ *ALL/SIGNOFF
Object Type Library
SIGNOFF *CMD QSYS
SIGNOFF *CMD QSYSV6R1M0
SIGNOFF *CMD QSYSV7R1M0
SIGNOFF *CMD QSYS38

If I was to delete QSYSV6R1M0/SIGNOFF and compile a CL with that command
imbedded in it, and use TGTRLS(V6R1M0) it would fail thinking that SIGNOFF
did not exist at V6R1M0 of the OS and therefore must be a new command.

Reinstall + Re-PTF is the easiest way to get rid of this.
By the way - what is the reason for copies of CPYTOIMPF?
