Summary:
After putting on 5733OPS *BASE and 5733OPS, option 2 for "Option 2" I had
to install PTF SI57008. After installing that (and a few coreq's) I could
then run
python3 --version
Python 3.4.2
$

No luck. The test lpar still cannot find the command.
Think it might be in another directory than /QOpenSys/usr/bin?
I did see a reference to
/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/OPS/Python3.4/lib/python3.4... at

However I don't have /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/OPS

again. I noticed:
"This Python offering contains the Python 3.4.2 runtime, which installs to
the directory /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/OPS/Python3.4. You will need PTF
SI57008 (or its latest superceding PTF) installed".
So I ordered SI57008. I noticed that it tried to also get a PTF for
5733SC1-7.1. We're running 7.2.
