Only sometimes? That doesn't make much sense....

But anyway, this depends to some extent on which terminal emulator
you're using. I guess most people who don't mention one are using
Client Access or its successors.

I believe Client Access only uses fixed-size (that is, not
continuously scalable) fonts. Once you've picked the largest one,
that's it. Now, I suppose you could try searching the Web for bigger
fixed-size fonts, installing them, and seeing if Client Access can use
them.

Can't think of anything else, unless your terminal emulator already
allows you to choose a scalable font, in which case, do that.
