Currently running V7R1, which runs, by default, Java version 5761JV1 11 Java SE 6 32 bit.

I've recently been informed that we must upgrade our JVM due to vulnerabilities.
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21688165
Java SE 6 only supports TLSv1.0.
Need to upgrade to at least Java 7, which supports TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2.

Using WRKJVMJOB, I've identified all processes(jobs) that use Java, less than 10.
We believe we have one process that will only run on Java 6, that will need to be changed, forcing to use current Java 6.

I would like a recommendations on which Java version to upgrade to, 7 or 8, and/or 32 or 64 bit?

All versions are currently installed, I simply need to ADDENVVAR pointing to the recommended version.

ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(JAVA_HOME) VALUE('/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk?0/??bit') LEVEL(*SYS)

Thank You
