Open a source member in RDi.
Position the cursor on a line you want to interrogate.
Press Escape to go to the command line.
Type query elementClasses
Press Enter.
RDi will tell you what elementCLasses are set for the line the cursor is on.
Press Escape to return back to the editing window.

Using a plugin, you'd use LpexView methods like query, doDefaultAction
and so forth.

There are some interesting samples on the web site. Swithch to Frames
(upper right) then in the top left nav pane, select
com.ibm.lpex.samples. In particular, look at the source for
findNextDefault for a place to start.

Also have a look at the source for iSphere.
