I meant not in a form suitable Dan. But I rather suspect the former too.

The code base for RPGNext might be a resource worth exploring since they are already open source. I believe they have coloration parser - which means that they must have a parser of some description. Not sure how efficient Java is going to be as the base for a string parsing task though.

I’m not sure about the ones they now use in RDi - they may well be in Java.
