The other thing those 'guys with spray cans' do is 'I'm just testing the smoke detectors, no worries!' However they trip the thing and even though they turned off the fire suppression discharge they still send hundreds of workers from the plant running for their lives because they think the joint is on fire!

I watched a network consultant, after I warned him not to, use one to
clean off the intake to an important piece of networking equipment.  Which
is the equivalent of taking a ramrod and attempting to shove the
impurities from the front of the device all the way through it.
It shorted it out right then and there.
