I have not "messed" around in the IP filter logs in a long time, but it should be possible to create some filters that allow access but log the attempts to the configured journal. Been a long time and I could be mis-remembering the capabilities.

What if you turned on IP filtering(let everything pass thru), but
log(journal) everything.

Is there a tool, or something that would log and document all remote access to and from the iSeries?
SSL, FTP, SFTP, FTPS the most critical, there are others.

Would need to see access type, LIP, Lport, RIP, Rport, Job, User, could be more.

I currently have various methods to log a specific access, but nothing that would do all.

Thank You
