It should be no problem to run db2 for aix on as400, all pase capabilities are there without installing the license programm pase, why should it be a technical problem to run db2 luw in the pase environment? - same thing with connecting to jdbc databases. If a one man show is able to implement ArdGate within some weeks, it could only be marketing that ibm is taking lots of money for workarounds to enable comparable capabilities. ym2c D*B
