its very confusing
this is the cl that runs off the scheduler. i dont see anything in those 2
prgram but would you expect the list is set somewhere within these 2 pgm's?

DCL VAR(&OUTQ) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10)

RTVJOBA OUTQ(&OUTQ)
CHGDTAARA DTAARA(*LDA (1 5)) VALUE(SA320)
CHGDTAARA DTAARA(*LDA (577 10)) VALUE(&OUTQ)

CALL PGM(RF218)
CALL PGM(SA320) PARM(' ' ' ' ' ')

Now you are looking at the job submission. Have them run it with logging
level set (4 0 *SECLVL). When it fails, you'll have to step through the
job log to see where the library list is changed.

The job description uses the library list settings. DSPJOBD
QDFTJOBD displays all the properties but the library list. You have
to press Enter a second time to see the library list.

yes but this has been 2 months old so at that time they held the job.
maybe i can have it run again to see.

question, there is 'routing data' on the QDFTJOBD is this where lib
can be set?

If the library doesn't exist there should be a message in the job

good point,. it's submitted but in a very old report writer
package but i wasn't thinking there because what this is, we
migrated off of VARSITY Shipping libs and those files have been
removed from all lib lists except in this case here.

so this one report is failing i presume when trying to add varsity
libs which have been deleted.

Is this a submitted job? It may be being set on the SBMJOB

if
so.

Otherwise you'll need to provide more info to help.
