Even though this is not currently an issue I thought I'd study this.
A user profile has two parameters in this area:
SETJOBATR Locale job attributes *SYSVAL QSETJOBATR
LOCALE Locale *SYSVAL QLOCALE

System value . . . . . : QSETJOBATR
Description . . . . . : Set job attributes from locale
Job
attribute
options
*NONE

*NONE No job attributes are set.
*CCSID The coded character set identifier (CCSID) of the locale
object.
*DATFMT The system date format.
*DATSEP The system date separator
*TIMSEP The system time separator.
*SRTSEQ The system sort sequence algorithm.
*DECFMT The system decimal format.

System value . . . . . : QLOCALE
Description . . . . . : Locale path name
Locale . : /qsys.lib/en_us.locale

WRKOBJ OBJ(QSYS/EN_US)
Object Type Library Attribute Text
EN_US *TBL QSYS EN_US ICU 2.6.1 SORT
EN_US *LOCALE QSYS CCSID 37

I can't think of any WRK command to work with a *LOCALE object. WRKL*
didn't tickle my fancy.
DSPF '/QSYS.LIB/EN_US.LOCALE'
Message ID . . . . . . . . . : CPE3021
Message . . . . : The value specified for the argument is not correct.
Cause . . . . . : A function was passed incorrect argument values or an
operation was attempted on an object and the operation specified is not
supported for that type of object.
