Alan,
Here is an 'older' link to an IBM site showing an "Infoprint" feature available beginning at V5R2:

Subject: Printing pdf data from teh AS/400

Hi everyone
Hope you had a really merry Christmas, and hope you have a really great New Year Before I forget - because I generally do, we are on V5r4

We are in the process of using a new courier, and part of that process is to receive data from the courier, via web services, decode it from Base64 and unzip the data We seem to have this working The end result is that we have 2 sets of data One is for labels - which we have printed, and the second is pdf files I have searched the internet on how to print pdf files from the AS/400 - with no success I have been told that it's the printers we are printing to I have also been told that we need to load some software onto the AS/400 to convert FROM pdf to some other format

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Do we need new printers? If so - which type?
Do we need software? If so - what?

I can (hopefully) answer any questions that needs to be asked
