Paul,

I applied TR9 and latest CUM on both Prod and R&D back on 11/19, no known issues.
Since TR9, I do have an issue with SNDPTFORD SF99711, runs for 3 to 4 hours, have not yet reported this.

Subject: TR9 troubles

Picture this:

2 machines sitting almost side by side.
The latest cumulative PTF and the other associated fixes are downloaded from IBM's FTP site to box number 1.
On 12/24, the cume was applied to box 1, the machine was rebooted.
The other fixes were applied, and the box was rebooted again.
WRKPTFGRP showed everything in a status of installed.
The same images were then ftp'd to box 2.
On 12/27, the cume was applied to box 2, and the machine was rebooted.
The other fixes were applied, and the box was rebooted again.

On box 2, SF99709, SF99705, and a couple others show a status of not installed.

These 2 machines have been kept in synch like this for the past 4 years without incident. The archives don't show much about TR9 issues, except for performance problems. I'll be calling IBM today.

Thanks

Paul Nelson
