I have client for a number of reasons wants to replicate certain files to
SQL Server as database changes happen. No FTP every hour or SQL Server
pulling data as needed etc. Live replication from DB2 files to a SQl Server
DB.
Anyone doing this and if so what product(s) are you using?

ArdGate is Open Source and enables access to all JDBC capable databases with
all SQL interfaces of as400. It's running in production as a replacement for
oracles transparent gateway in several installations. Other installations
are using it to access MS SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL. We have
installations in production in Germany, Italy, Austria; Israel and USA as
well.
ArdGate is running on AS/400 with one prestarted JVM, serving multiple
clients in a multithreaded environment, no additional server is needed. It's
very fast and scalable. You will find it at Sourceforge

less than a day
