I'm afraid the only budget for this project is my time.

Subject: RE: Retrieve e-mails from Exchange server

Hi Justin,

Not sure if you're open to commercial options or not, but RJS/HelpSystems has a couple of options:

POP/400 - Can download and retrieve email messages from any POP3 mailbox natively. This includes any exchange mail account.

AutoMate - Is a Windows scripting product that can automate the download of emails via POP3, IMAP or Exchange OWA APIs. Can rip the attachments and also make informed decisions on how to process. After a download is completed you can kick off an i command or process for each email message.

If you would like a little technical demo, feel free to contact offline directly via email or phone.

I need to retrieve e-mail messages<http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/201411/msg00501.html> from our local Exchange server<http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/201411/msg00501.html>, process them via an RPGLE program and then delete the original message off Exchange.

I guess my first question is, is this even possible? If so, how do I go about getting my IBM i to talk to Exchange.
