I really dislike save files for PTFs etc because they are hard to manage.
Much easier management for image catalogs in the IFS.

That said, it did start to download almost immediately.

make a difference.

That is what I tried, although keep in mind SNDPTFORD is just a command line
interface to the same systems as Fix Central. Download to an image on the
IFS. It almost seems if there is any prep that has to be done to get the
PTF order it takes forever.

Same thing with ordering it on line.

Doesn't make sense.

It seems like it's taking almost 8 hours for Fix Central to respond with an
order number and status for a PTF order. Is anyone else experiencing this?

It gets really frustrating when you're trying to fix a problem that only
requires a PTF and you can't get it in a reasonable time.
