Hi Gary,

It is possible to FTP to/from QNTC. Works fine when I try it...

But, FTPing to/from QNTC is a strange thing to do. QNTC is a file system that accesses other computers over the network. i.e. it's normally an alternative to FTP.

However, due to the design of the IFS (which allows all file systems to be treated pretty much the same) QNTC does work through FTP. There might be a few odd instances where this is handy, for example, if using a remote computer that can't access Windows Networking, but can access FTP. Then it would make sense to use the QNTC file system to access computers that only have Windows Networking services available. But, of course, this isn't very efficient, and is an unusual situation.

At any rate, "failed" doesn't really provide much detail about your situation. Can you tell us the actual errors or symptoms that you are experiencing?

What Permissions do I need on Directories to support FTP ?
