Subject: Re: Profile handle

The api I use is slightly different but I think the elements are the same. I use "*NOPWDSTS" for the password. Here's a little code (c sorry):

QsyGetProfileHandleNoPwd(profileInfo->currentProfileHandle, "*CURRENT ", "*NOPWDSTS ", (Qus_EC_t *) errCode);

if (errCode->errStruct.Bytes_Available==0) {
copyBlankFill (profileInfo->swapUserProfile, userProfile, sizeof(userProfile));
QsyGetProfileHandleNoPwd(profileInfo->newProfileHandle,
userProfile, "*NOPWDSTS ", (Qus_EC_t *) errCode);

if (errCode->errStruct.Bytes_Available==0) {
// Set to the new profile
QsySetToProfileHandle(profileInfo->newProfileHandle, (Qus_EC_t *) errCode);
if (errCode->errStruct.Bytes_Available==0) {
profileInfo->setUserProfile=1;
return 0;
}
QsyReleaseProfileHandle(profileInfo->newProfileHandle, (Qus_EC_t
*) errCode);
}
QsyReleaseProfileHandle(profileInfo->currentProfileHandle,
(Qus_EC_t *) errCode);
}

Tim,

According to this:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_72/apiref/apie
xushand.htm?lang=en and looking at &PRFHNDL2, it sure looks like I
need to know the password.
Am I wrong in thinking that in my situation &PRFHANDL1 is for QPGMR
(the original job user)? &PRFHANDL2 is for QSECOFR?
