FYI (to all) The FTPAPI doesn't use the native FTP support - in Scott's words,

"Instead of using IBM's FTP program, I wrote my own FTP service program from the ground up."

I don't know how active that outside forum is - haven't been on it - but it might be worth going there for some answers.

I responded to Gary, thinking he was looking for something returned in FTP itself, did not realize he was looking for the text of the TCP10B0 - nonetheless, I believe my comments are pertinent - there's no need to catch the TCP10B0 message, as the FTPAPI would take care of that already.

Cheers
Vern

Just installed FTPAPI with hopes to catch msg from FTP host:

Goal is to re-schedule the transfer for a later time.
All comments welcome by this FTP novice

I seem to recall that the FTPAPI has its own /forum/ [outside midrange.com] for discussing that software.? Or is the question not about how FTPAPI catches that error msg TCP10B0, but how one might go about rescheduling a future invocation of the failed request?
