Take a look at iDate at www.think400.dk/downloads.htm. Free. Converts from
any numeric or character value to a date data type or null if invalid.

If ISO was your default Select iDate(Numeric) from xxx is all you need. If
you default format is something else, select iDate(Numeric,'*CCYMD') from
xxx is all you need.
