I think that prevailing terminology would call blahblah a "sub-domain" of
the dilgardfoods.com "domain". If you "own" the domain, you can add as many
sub-domain names as you want, and point each of them to any valid public IP
address of your choice.

I gather that your network administrator pointed blahblah to a firewall on
you LAN.
