Re: Adding disks to a raid set, how long is too long?

fixed

So far IBM never thought that people would use the option to start raid,
before installing LIC. It's there, I do. It works on spinning disks,
just not on SSD's. There is a side benefit to installing LIC first - you
can select how it should create raid sets. The option numbers may be
different in DST than SST but in SST they are:
3. Work with disk units
2. Work with disk configuration
8. Work with device parity protection
7. Select parity optimization

Select how you want the parity set optimized:

The current parity optimization is: Balanced

Type choice, press Enter.
Select parity optimization

1. Availability
2. Balance
3. Capacity
4. Performance
