If from one i to another, all that is need is NAM 1

the QUOTE SITE version is what you use if you are in a windows client or other non-i client and want to change name format on the i as server.

QUOTE SITE will work but is not necessary if i to i.

If going from i to non-i, NAM 1 is still going to set the client i to path naming - it will do nothing on the other end - but it does the same as locsite nam 1 - that last is also not needed most of the time, IMO.
