The only way to grow in this market space right now is through
acquisition.... I'm more than willing to give these new folks the chance
and see where they end up... :)

Stop being such a Debbie-Downer. I'm running for the
bridge.............................. :)

Seriously you have to expect some level of changes to occur.

Let's not suggest that anything good or bad will be happening. Let's wait
and see how the next 12 months plays out. Then we'll be in-the-know :)

I personally welcome the chance to help support and grow our product lines
and hope I get to interact with more customers now that we have a bigger
base to work with.

Help systems<http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/201407/msg00018.html>
has not had the best record with this either.
Prices/maintenance costs jump dramatically to cover the cost of the
acquisition and the
innovation<http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/201407/msg00018.html>
slows down. I know Richard would not knowingly step into a development
quagmire but the track record suggests that might happen.

They have very good products with very rich features/functions; they just
want really big money for them. Now add in the Rodin and RJS products into
that mix. CA drove the cost of running an MVS system up so high that the
market started to crumble underneath them. I'm wondering when that happens
to POWER at this point.

Time will tell.
