PowerTech (acquired by and part of the HelpSystems family) offers a "free"
Security Assessment that might be of value, depending upon your needs. You
will get reports, graphs, rankings, etc. that might help justify further
budgetary actions. Robin Tatam has personally performed these for us and
other customers. He is a Common speaker and SME on IBM i Security.
Contact information is below, including "Ty", who is the goto guy for
scheduling these assessments.

IBM has it's a$$essment. Very good but not inexpensive
Carol Woodbury at Skyview Partners does one, very good.
Pat Botz does one. Not as automated as Carols

Agile does a complete system review for a fix price which includes the
security portion

IBM has tools but you have to draw the conclusions yourself, unless you
purchase their products.

In this case you get what you pay for. A quick overview is very cheap
(<$1K) a real review is more expensive.

Has anyone had an IBM I Security assessment done recently?
Does IBM have a tool for this?
If not, looking for recommendations and estimated cost?

Thank You
