PTF MF58517 is the 'slow guy'. Having applied TR8 on three partitions now it has taken more than 15 minutes at C900 2967 to apply this particular PTF. It applies immediately after MF99008 which has taken only about 1 minute each time. Approximately the same time on POWER7 and POWER5 servers.

I have had no issues with this PTF, just noticed that it seems to take some significant effort to apply it.

Put all the current stuff on a partition last night with no issues. LOTS
of PTFs though between the TR, new DB, New Hiper, new CUME. One of the
MF PTFs took a solid 17 minutes on a small 100% virtual partition. It

I can't find the number. Hmmmm, graying hair must be in play.
