i suggest do a retrieve disk information (rtvdskinf), these create a file call qaezdisk, whit all object sizes, whit a query program can retrieve the information you need, you need to run before the rtvdskinf to refresh te information of the qaezdisk file, maybe can help these option, i think ibm have other option, ithink its a license program call storage extension, whit these license, i thin you can use the navigator to recolect that kind of information, but i not sure, other solutions tivoli storage manager but you need to search exactly what do you need.

Subject: Virtual tape reporting

Good morning

I am working with a customer that will be using virtual tape backup.

They have specified that the monthly backup will be save indefinitely. After a while, the monthly backup could take up a lot of space.

Is there a reporting tool available to report on the amount of space used by all the tapes for this customer?

Thanks in advance
