Basic 101: Do NOT try to determine the level of IBM i Access for Windows
by doing a help/about in a 5250 session.
PC communications is bundled with IBM i Access for Windows. However it
runs at a different version.
Instead, run Start, Programs, IBM i Access for Windows, IBM i Access for
Windows properties.

You should be able to run all the way up to the last version of IBM i
Access for Windows IBM will ever put out: 7.1.
