This is open to everyone in the community not just COMMON members. We have had such amazing demand for this, that we will certainly have the replay available for everyone, but we are looking at possibly doing another one. Details still being worked out with everyone's calendars.

This is something you don't want to miss out, as I have been on the beta team for IBM i 7.2 for over 3 months now, and this release has some really cool things every IBM i shop will want to take advantage of.

Pete,

I tried twice today to register for the Webcast, once around 10 EDT and again at 15 EDT, both times timed out.
I'm not a member of COMMON, could that have been the issue, or was the Webcast already full.
Not being a COMMON member, will I be able to view the replay?

Paul

All the seats for this have been sold out, you can catch the replay once it is on the COMMON website.

Subject: COMMON Webinar on IBM i 7.2 and Power8

There are some really cool things coming on Monday, and COMMON is having a webinar to educate the community. You don't have to be a member, everyone can attend. I highly recommend attending this, as IBM i 7.2 is loaded with really cool new features and functions. I have been playing with 7.2 for the last 3 months, and let me tell you that there is enough cool stuff in this release to blow your mind. Plus hear about the next generation of IBM hardware.

Sign up, and don't be left behind.

Earlier today, IBM sent out a press notice regarding the imminent release of IBM i 7.2 and Power8 Hardware - the newest operating system and hardware enhancements for IBM Power Systems. Attend this FREE COMMON Webcast to hear the details. We will be joined by Mark Olson, Steve Will, Alison Butterill and other key IBM personnel as they describe the new operating system and hardware features. This will be your very first opportunity to hear about a major new release. This webcast is FREE for EVERYONE to attend, so don't miss this opportunity to hear details about the latest IBM i release! Register now to guarantee your participation in this important event on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 9am Central time.

Click here to register for this FREE upcoming webcast.<http://www.common.org/index.php/webcasts/upcoming-webcasts.html?utm_source=WebEducation&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=UpcomingWebEducation20140423>

In addition, the COMMON conference May 4 to 7th in Orlando will have lots of sessions and additional information about IBM I 7.2 and Power8 machines. Come to the expo to see and touch the machines. I will be doing a session on What you need to know to successfully upgrade to 7.2. I have done a few already and very easy if you follow a few steps.

Register for this seminar before it fills up, get your reservation to the COMMON Conference as well.
